The match between Srilanka and Newzland was abandoned due to rain ev-n on the reserve Day.the match on 19-th was post-poned to the reserve day, as on the first day also rain washed out the play. When rain obstructed the play Srilanka were on 203/3 in 43.4 overs. It was for the first time that a matcebbii abandoned due to rain in Dambullaebbii the teams were awarded one point each.
